There's no quicker way to ruin a barbecue than bland meat. That's why we've put together a guide to seasoning! Whether you're grilling up your first venison, or just craving a classic t-bone steak, here's your cheat sheet for how to combine meat and seasoning for results your friends and family will love!
1. Pork & Lemon Pepper
Place lemons slices on top of the meat while its grilling to really inject flavor.
2. Beef & Taco Seasoning
For steaks, use less taco seasoning; for burgers, use more.
3. Lamb & Greek Spice Blend
Once the meat is done cooking, dip it in Tzatziki sauce for a super Greek kick.
4. Chicken & Curry Blend
Mix your remaining curry blend with 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce and baste before grilling.
5. Fish & Indian Sweet Spice Blend
Rub fish in coconut oil to prevent it from sticking to the grill and add to the flavor of the sweet spice blend.
6. Venison & Chili Seasoning
Have leftover venison? Throw it in a crockpot with some chili ingredients. Ta-da! Deer chili.
7. Duck & Italian Spice Blend
Don't go overboard on spicing up duck meat. Its natural flavor enhances any seasonings you'll add.
8. Turkey & Cajun Spice Blend
Rub turkey with olive oil and let set in spice blend overnight. Turkey meat takes longer to absorb additives than other meats.
Bonus!: Sweet Potatoes & Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend
Whether you're vegetarian or just wanting a sweet, healthy side dish, this is a great option, especially on the grill.
